Homemade iSync Plugin for Sony Ericsson W600i / W550i

Color me excited! I actually accomplished something useful. I made an iSync plugin for Mac OS X 10.4, for the W600i/W550i no less!
Imagine that, actually taking my own advice and reading a very useful howto! Well, I can't say that it was very difficult, took a little playing around with, but it worked.
I only had access to the W550i (which I'll be reviewing this week!), but the linked file and instructions for the W600i should work (if not, please leave a comment below!).
While it's only for Mac OS X 10.4, if you need the ability to sync your new W600i or W550i on your Mac, try this:
- Download the one of the following zip files: Z600i or Z550i to your Desktop, and double click the file to unzip it. The result will be a folder named Wxxxi.phoneplugin on your Desktop.
- Open Finder, navigate to your user Library folder, and create a folder called "PhonePlugins", then drag the new Wxxxi.phoneplugin folder from your desktop into PhonePlugins.
- Setup your phone with Bluetooth, as previously discussed.
- In iSync, select the Devices menu and "Add Device," which should find your already paired W600i or W550i phone.
That should be it. Please leave a comment and let me know how it works for you.
UPDATE:For AddressBook support, give this hack from Mobile.Feisar.com a try.
