Sync Yahoo!Go, your Mac, and your Phone
I can't believe I was beaten to the punch! Om Malik got to it before I did, but he used Apple's iSync, his Nokia Series 60 phone, and Yahoo!'s new Go service to keep everything in sync.
I haven't posted on this yet, because I'm still editing the video for a podcast, but Om Malik does a great job explaining how to setup your phone with your Mac and Yahoo!'s online services. This is a greater offering than the services I previously posted on.
The Yahoo!Go service aims to help you to keep all your content in sync--whether it's on your computer, on your TV or on your mobile device. And it does it all online. So, if you want the contacts and calendar events that you've setup on Yahoo! Mail / Addressbook / Calendar, you can download the Yahoo!Go application to keep your content in sync.
One of the nice features of this application is that it immediately sends cameraphone pictures online to your Yahoo! Photos account. This is a pretty cool feature.
I'd rather leave this post at that--as I plan on showing you how the service works, instead of describing it in words. I've got an upcoming video demo of it that shows you what you can do with the service and a Nokia Series 60 phone, like the 6630.
So stay tuned!
