Sync Verizon LG VX-10000 Voyager to Mac with BitPIM
I recently received an email from a reader who inquired about the new Verizon touch screen competitor to the iPhone, the LG VX-10000 Voyager. Here's the email:
I am interested in getting, via Verizon, an LG 10000 Voyager.
Is there any way to sync my calendar with iCal and vice versa?
Thanks
I haven't yet had the chance to try out the LG Voyager, but I'm guessing that it will be difficult. Most Verizon phones won't sync with a Mac, unfortunately, and even fewer LGs. However, there is an application that might find helpful for iSync unsupported CDMA phones. It's called BitPIM and it's an open-source app that works on a Mac, Linux and Windows.
BitPIM gives you access to a lot of information on your phone, and to be able to push and pull info and files onto it.
The program should let you import standard vcard and ical files (which you can export from Mac OS X Address Book and iCal) to sync with the phone. I exported a calendar from iCal and a set of of contacts as a vCard from Address Book, and all imported just fine. Now I don't have a phone to test it on, but you can find out if your phone is supported here.
It's not a perfect solution, like iSync might be, but if you're set on the Voyager or another unsupported CDMA phone, it might be the way to go. I hope it helps.
If you've tried BitPIM, let us know how it worked for you in the comments below.

Have you considered using "The Steadfast Tin Soldier"? The ballerina is central and symbolic - I've seen versions where she's forced to dance testking cisco ccna only for the bully in the nursery - a black goblin, sometimes Jack-in-the-Box. There's the story of "Giselle" (is there a folk version other than that used for the ballet?) - she dances for joy, dances to her death then testking ex0-101 her Prince is almost forced to dance to his death by the vengeful Wilis but she saves him safe till dawn when she and they are no more... And Hans Andersen has a little story called "Dance, Dance Doll Of Mine!" which testking training reads more like a story waiting to happen than anything else.
LG VX-10000 Voyager to Mac with BitPIM is looking cool in the picture its charm look will enhance the user look at the crowd.its calender look and address book content all are great.its multimedia quality is just same as the all multimedia phone like nokia 5310
Heres a program that worked for me. Datapilot.com
(macbookpro 10.4)
I just synced Address Book contacts from my Powerbook G4 (using OS X 10.5.5) to my Voyager via the Voyager's included USB cable. Nothing complicated about it:
Download and install Bitpim
Export Address Book in VCard format on the Mac
Import VCard file into Bitpim
Attach Voyager via USB cable
Send Phonebook data to Voyager
Really easy, quick, and painless. I highly recommend it.
Bit pim DOES work--it's just a multi-step process. First enter data into i-cal. Then export (e.g. to desktop so it's easy to find). Open Bitpim. Click on "file", "import", "i-cal". Locate on desktop and import. Then you can push to the phone via bluetooth. (Make sure the phone is in discoverable mode).
To go the other way, just reverse--pull from phone into Bitpim. Then export from bitpim as an "i-cal". Double click on the exported file and add to i-cal.
you remain hidden because you know that what you said in the email is wrong...
its not easy..it does not work..and you know it....
lying about the product is not going to sell it
bitpim and the voyager are not compatible no matter what and if you say they are
what are the versions setting on the phone and program
publish them so we can all set our phones.....
bad
thanks

You idiot you have no clue, it is possible. I do it all the time. Your probably to effing retarded to use this program, go back to the self automating programs and stop your crying, i got it for free and its amazing.
Although I have never gotten my voyager to transfer data via the usb cable only through bluetooth, using BT DIAG protocol.
Was wondering if you could get more specific with how you got the usb cable to work?
Do you want to buy a new phone? Do you want to know about roaming partners and network? Just go to http://www.gsmprofile.com and view, search and show your phone specification .If you loss your mobile manual you can get it from http://www.gsmprofile.com easily.
