Tethering Sprint Phone with your Mac for Wireless Internet
Sumit came across MacnCell, trying to figure out how to tether his Sprint phone with his Mac to use as a wireless modem:
Hey there. I did a google search and ran across your very awesome article on connecting to the Internet via a Bluetooth phone. I’ve noticed this option in the Bluetooth setup and decided to give it a try with my new Sprint phone since I have an unlimited data plan.
Of course I got stuck when it asked for which modem script to use and the user/password options of course. I found your page showing instructions for ATT/T-Mobile phones. I was wondering, do you know what settings are needed for Sprint phones?
Thanks Sumit
Thanks for the email, Sumit. In looking up the info for your question, I found this page on Smart Device Central which may have shed some light on the problem.
Specifically, here they suggest that you use these settings:
Sprint:
Phone Number: #777
Username: [blank]
Password: [blank]
Has anyone else had any luck with these settings? If so, with what phone and how did you do it? Please leave a comment below and share your experience.

The real story, however, isn't quite that simple. The point of Google's mobile business testking vcp is to promote its Web services. To achieve this, the company wants to overhaul the traditional wireless service model in which operators testking pass hold most of the power. Google's mobile business decisions, including developing its own mobile platform (Android), opening a phone-centric Web store and commissioning handsets from favored manufacturers, all support that goal. The plan does not call for Google to leave the wireless industry testking 640-802 for any reason, including meager sales or bungled launches. Like many things Google does, its mobile strategy is part business, part ideology.
